About Doctor V Chiropractic Center in Pittsburgh

After graduation from Palmer College of Chiropractic in 1992, Dr. Robert Vano founded two high-volume practices. The first in Harmony, PA was sold in 1997. The second in Richmond, VA and was sold in 2000. Both were among the largest practices in each area at that time.

He relates his success to three things - passion, integrity, and sincerity. "I am passionate about what I do as a chiropractor.", relates Vano. He continued, "And I learned a long time ago, that doing everything with the highest level of integrity and sincerity are what I'll base my practices on." Vano reports he sleeps good at night knowing he did his best that day to share chiropractic with his practice members.

2% of the benefit is straight ahead into a dead-end. The other 98% of the benefits can only happen by going a different direction. The choice is yours.

When asked why "Doctor V"? "Has a nice little ring to it, doesn't it?" replies Vano. "Just kidding.", and continues, "That's what most of my practice members started to call me." When I decided to open another office, I called upon my former sign guy, Ed, from Harmony, PA and explained that I wanted something more "hip". He, himself always called me Doctor V. So, we put our heads together and settled on our current Doctor V logo, making it into our sign.

The Other 98%

The practice philosophy at Doctor V's is what sets us apart from other chiropractic offices. While most doctors are "stuck" in the traditional medical model of care, Doctor V offers 100% pure, non-therapeutic, All-American CHIROPRACTIC! "We want you to become A Better You™", states Vano. He continued, "There's no way on this earth for you to be your best when you have vertebral subluxations." Vano continued by explaining that most people never experience all the benefits chiropractic has the potential to deliver. "We're not a bachache profession. We are a human performance profession.", stated Vano. He continued, "There's 98% more to chiropractic than what most people experience." Doctor V is all about that other 98%!

We also wanted to make chiropractic care accessible for everyone, "Not just those with big pocket books or the best insurance plans on the market.", reports Doctor V.

At Doctor V, their practice model focuses on making chiropractic care easy and affordable for everyone. "We realize that in today's society, time is of the essence. And with the rising cost of fuel, co-payments, and deductibles, Doctor V states "That's why we make it so easy to get in to have your spine checked - and we keep it affordable."

Setting a New Standard

Something else Doctor V has available to residents of the Pittsburgh area, are affordable maintenance care options. "We see a trend happening - higher co-payments, higher deductibles, restricted coverage - ALL, part of the downside of depending on insurance plans to pay for health enhancement." He continues, "At Doctor V, we're setting a new standard - a standard that will eventually, have to be embraced by most chiropractors across the country - a standard that makes care more affordable for everyone."

Ultimately, it is you, the practice member, who gets to decide how much you want to benefit from chiropractic care. We hope you'll choose to learn more about the other 98% so you can make your investment worth it in the long-run.

What can a chiropractor do for asthma?
Many people think of chiropractic as exclusively dealing with the spine. But I'm interested in the spine because it covers the nervous system. Problems in the spine can produce problems in the organs and tissues controlled by the affected nerves—including those to the lungs and bronchial tubes. Find out how chiropractic care has helped those with asthma.
Are aches and pains good or bad?
While aches or pains may be unpleasant, they're merely warning signs. As a Pittsburgh chiropractor, I see this all the time. The pain is not the problem! It just means a limitation has been reached and something needs to change. That's when we get to work correcting the underlying cause.
