Where In The World Is Sam Spine Now?
Sam Spine is our mascot. Sometimes we refer to him as "Double S". He likes to travel and is available for adoption to go on vacations. Sam is a friendly little fellow. He travels well and stays out of the way. He likes not only far away vacations, but also just relaxing weekends with you and your friends - even just at home. Just about everything makes him happy. But most of all, he enjoys having his picture taken while on vacation (especially when he's near a famous landmark).
Sam likes to spend time with you and your family. All you have to do is adopt him by signing his adoption certificate, let him travel with you to your favorite vacation spot, treat him like one of the family, and take a few photos with your digital camera and email them back to Doctor V. Doctor V will place the photos on his website so everyone can know where in the world Sam Spine is now.
We know Sam well enough to know he'll love being on vacation with you and he'll be looking forward to his next vacation. So, bring him home safely so we can send him off on another vacation so we can all see "Where in the world Sam Spine is now?"
Sam decided that for him to enjoy his vacation even more, he'll have his spine checked. Here, Sam is happily awaiting his turn on one of the technique tables.

Sam's excited about his upcoming vacation. Here, he's decided to check out the World Atlas and catch a glimpse of where his travels will take him this year.

June 27, 2009 - Sam just got back from Cape May, the Queen of the Seaside Resorts, in New Jersey. Cape May distinguishes herself in many ways. She has the pristine beaches and all the amenities that make any seashore town lovely, but she also has a rich history and an architectural diversity equal to none. In fact, in 1976 the entire city of Cape May was declared a National Historic Landmark. Possessing one of the country’s largest collections of 19th century framed buildings, Cape May is New Jersey’s jewel in the crown. But it’s not all about the history; she is an island which three municipalities share – Cape May, Cape May Point and West Cape May. You can leave you car in the driveway or parking lot and walk or ride your bike anywhere and still have easy access to the grocery store, the beaches, or any of the restaurants. She's a small town and proud of it, and hopes you come away thinking this is “your” town.

May 29, 2009 - Sam just returned from from camping at Lake Raystown, about 3 hours from Pittsburgh, PA. From what we were told, the rain storms that went through just about washed him downstream.
